This license allows the holder to provide services to the nails, hair, head, face, neck or scalp.Overview
Allows an individual to perform the services of nail specialty, natural hair styling, waxing and esthetics, and includes providing services to the hair, head, face, neck or scalp of a human being, including but not limited to shaving, trimming, and cutting the hair or beard either by hand or mechanical appliances and the application of antiseptics, powders, oil, clays, lotions or applying tonics to the hair, head, or scalp, and in addition includes providing, for a fee or any consideration of exchange, whether direct or indirect, services for the application of applying dyes, reactive chemicals and other preparations to alter the color, straighten, curl or alter the structure of the hair of a human being.

1. Must be at least 17 years of age; Always Required2. Proof of Training/Experience based on education, experience, endorsement/reciprocity or previous NYS licensure.
3. Health Certification Showing Freedom from any Infectious or Communicable Disease; Always Required
